Durham Station Transportation Center Information

The Durham Station Transportation Center will serve as a downtown Durham inter and intra-city bus transfer facility as well as house city taxi and railroad services. The Durham Station’s preliminary budget is $17,585,732. These bus lines will include Durham Area Transit Authority (DATA), Triangle Transit Authority (TTA) bus service, and Carolina Trailways/Greyhound bus service. The DSTC building will also include a link to TTA’s new downtown commuter rail stations. The project is part of the NC Transportation Improvement Plan area of the City of Durham’s Capital Improvements Program (CIP). The project is projected to start in the summer of 2007 and finish in 2009.
